Having children is a great blessing and a life-changing journey, isn’t it? Children are precious gifts from God, and along with all the joy they bring, there are also challenges along the way.
That’s why Mission Orlando wants to partner with you in the adventure of parenthood, helping guide your children to have an encounter with Jesus so they can grow up loving Him, loving others, loving life, and being strengthened in their faith.
What is a baby dedication?
Parents present their children before God and the church, committing to seek wisdom to fulfill their responsibilities as role models for their children. It is a commitment to guide them so they understand that through Jesus their lives are free from sin, that they grow up knowing God´s word, and that they experience the family that exists within the church.
Parental Commitment
Parents are the greatest role models for their children; therefore, we ask that you commit to
the following before presenting your child:
– You commit to having a personal relationship with Jesus.
– You consistently attend weekend services at Mission Orlando.
– You agree with the vision, beliefs, and values of Mission Orlando, which can be found on
our website www.missionorlandochurch.com.
– You commit to living a life in accordance with God's principles in His word and imitating
Jesus through your example in your way of life.
– You commit to instructing and educating your child(ren) according to God's principles
established in His word.
