WHAT IS THE MISSION TEAM?
The Mission Team is a family of passionate people who have discovered their gifts and callings and choose to use them to serve God and others. From welcoming guests and creating unforgettable first impressions, to shaping the next generation in Kids and Youth, to designing environments, producing services, and impacting our city through Outreach—together we make church happen.
We are not just volunteers—we are difference-makers, united by one mission: to lead people to an encounter with Jesus and to make a difference.

The next step to join the team is to complete the 3 steps of Discover Your Mission. This course is designed to prepare you to become a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. You’ll learn the essentials of faith and also discover how God designed you.

The Connection Team helps people take their first steps at Mission Orlando. They answer questions, provide resources, and make sure every guest finds their place and feels like part of the family.

The Welcome Team opens the doors with warmth and joy, creating an atmosphere where everyone feels seen and valued the moment they walk in.

SETUP AND TEARDOWN
This team makes everything possible behind the scenes. They coordinate, set up, and tear down equipment so every service and event runs with excellence.

TEAM CENTRAL
Team Central cares for our volunteers and guests by creating spaces of hospitality. From coffee to snacks, they make Sundays feel warm and welcoming for everyone.

MISSION STORE
Mission Store provides resources, books, and materials that help people grow in their faith and everyday life. Every purchase helps expand the vision of Mission Orlando.

Mission Kids exists to lead every child into a life-changing encounter with Jesus. From the moment they walk in, we create a safe, fun, and faith-filled environment where the next generation can discover God’s love, grow in His Word, and know they belong to His family.
WELCOME
The Welcome Team makes every child and parent feel safe and excited from the very first moment. With smiles and care, they create an environment where families know they are valued and loved.
If you love greeting families, making kids feel comfortable, and setting the tone for an amazing day, this is your perfect spot.
TEACHERS
Teachers are leaders who guide children to know Jesus personally. Through stories, lessons, and genuine care, they help kids understand God’s truth in a way that changes lives.

Kids Worship
This team leads children into God’s presence through music, songs, and joy-filled praise. They make worship exciting and meaningful, showing kids that praising God is fun and powerful.

The Prayer Team carries the spiritual heartbeat of Mission Orlando. They intercede before, during, and after services, covering every person, leader, and decision with prayer.

GO GROUPS
The Go Groups Team organizes and prepares each season of groups, making it easy for people to discover opportunities, join a group, and grow in community and friendship. They make sure no one walks alone at Mission Orlando.

media
The Media Teams use creativity and technology to share the message of Jesus in powerful and relevant ways. From design to audio, from cameras to live production, they set the stage so that every person—both in the room and online—can encounter God and experience life change.

This team brings stories to life through photography, graphic design, communications, marketing, and managing the church’s social media platforms.

The Video Team captures and produces high-quality video that tells the story of what God is doing at Mission Orlando. From camera operation to editing, they create visuals that reach far beyond the room.

PRODUCTION
This team manages screens, lighting, and live production so that every service runs with clarity and excellence. They make sure the focus stays on what matters most—encountering God.

SOUND
The Sound Team mixes and manages audio for worship, speakers, and online services, ensuring that every word and song is heard with clarity and impact.
If you have an ear for sound, love music, and enjoy shaping the atmosphere through audio, this is your perfect fit.

The Worship Team is a collective of pastors, musicians, worship leaders, and songwriters who serve every week at Mission Orlando.
To serve on this team, you need to:
- Be a member of Mission Orlando
- Have served for at least 6 months on another Mission Team
- Pass a background check
- Have attended Lifeclass and been baptized
- Complete an audition
OUTREACH
The Outreach Team exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city. Every month, we launch projects that meet real needs—bringing hope, love, and practical help to families across Orlando. From serving meals to community events, each project is an opportunity to make God’s love visible in a tangible way.
You can choose where to serve and be part of life-giving moments that impact homes, neighborhoods, and futures. Together, we are not just doing good works—we are transforming lives for eternity.
Some projects may require a background check in order to serve.
